Omega Ophthalmics LLC (Omega) has announced today that Daniel Chang, MD has joined their Medical Advisory Board, effective immediately.

Daniel H. Chang, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices in Bakersfield, California. Dr. Chang graduated with honors from the California Institute of Technology. He then received his medical and ophthalmology training from two of the most prestigious programs in the Southeast: Duke University, where he performed groundbreaking laser vision correction research; and Emory University, where he earned the title of Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. Dr. Chang so distinguished himself at these two programs that he became the only surgeon in the country invited to the most prestigious cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at Minnesota Eye Consultants.

Ike K. Ahmed, MD is a fellowship-trained glaucoma, cataract, and anterior segment surgeon with a practice focus on the surgical management of glaucoma, complex cataract and intraocular lens complications. He is board-certified in ophthalmology in Canada and the USA, and is an active member of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS), American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), Association for Vision and Research in Ophthalmology (ARVO), International Society of Glaucoma Surgery (ISGS), Canadian Glaucoma Society (CGS), and the American Glaucoma Society (AGS).

William Wiley, MD Joins Omega Ophthalmics LLC Medical Advisory Board

Lexington, KY – July 7, 2014.

Omega Ophthalmics LLC (Omega) has announced today that William Wiley, MD has joined their Medical Advisory Board, effective immediately.

Dr. Wiley graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in Chemistry and continued on to the Medical College of Ohio, graduating in 1998. He then completed his residency in ophthalmology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Wiley has also completed a clinical externship, graduating with honors in ophthalmology from Harvard University in 1997. During a rotation in medical school in Russia, he worked with Dr. Svyatoslov Fyodorov, the pioneer of modern refractive surgery. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the International Society of Refractive Surgeons.

Omega Ophthalmics LLC (Omega) has announced today that William Trattler, M.D. has joined their Medical Advisory Board, effective immediately.

Dr. Trattler is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been an author of many articles and abstracts, including Review of Ophthalmology, The Cornea Handbook, and Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple. In 2002, Dr. Trattler received the “Outstanding Young Ophthalmologist Leadership Award” from the Florida Society of Ophthalmology (FSO).  More Recently, Dr. Trattler received the Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
